A major earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale jolted Wenchuan County of southwest China's Sichuan Province at 2:28 p.m. last day. At present, there are almost ten thousands people dead in this earthquake. Because a lot of people are buried under the ruin, I guess the number of the dead people will rise.

     It is a disaster, disaster of our Chinese people. We have no ability to prevent this disaster, but we have the ability to prevent ourselves being defeated by this disaster, especially our Chinese people.

    2008, it is should to be an important year for china, cause the Olympic games will be held in Beijing, it is big event that give our China an important chance to develop and deliver our willing to exchange and share our culture、economic、technical and so on.

    But things do not have a favorable wind all the way. At the beginning of the year, there was a huge snow disaster raiding the south of the china, yesterday a major earthquake raided china again. Both of them brought big destroy to our country.
